Laura founded Laura's Children Foundation (LCF) in 2018 with a commitment to making health education accessible in socially disadvantaged communities. As a registered nurse working on a liver and kidney transplant floor, she witnessed the impact of health literacy gaps, which inspired her focus on primary prevention—helping people before health issues arise. Laura's personal experience with childhood obesity further fuels her dedication to promoting small, sustainable lifestyle changes. Through LCF, she is committed not only to helping families, especially those who look like her, but also to using the foundation as a bridge for her own continued growth.

Meriana graduated from nursing school in 2018, specializing in pediatrics, adolescence, and gerontology. She began her career as a school nurse for grades K-12, impacting students across Delaware and Chester County. After a few years, she shifted to critical care at a level 2 trauma center, where she thrives in high-stakes environments. Outside of her professional duties, Meriana passionately promotes balanced living and fitness, actively engaging with various communities throughout the Delaware County & Philadelphia region. Her dedication to nursing and helping others is a passion for her, as she continues to find immense fulfillment in her role, seeing it as her ultimate calling.

 Peniella brings over five years of experience in property management to the advisory board, showcasing her ability to navigate complex challenges with a strategic mindset. With a passion for health and fitness, she actively promotes wellness within her community, encouraging others to lead balanced lives. In addition to her dedication to health, Peniella enjoys engaging with the arts and music, believing that creativity enriches both personal and communal experiences. Currently pursuing further education in technology, she aims to leverage her diverse background to support innovative solutions for the organization. Peniella is committed to making a positive impact and helping the nonprofit thrive through her multifaceted perspective.

  Milan is a serial entrepreneur with a diverse background, bringing a wealth of knowledge to Laura's Children Foundation. Milan has a deep passion for helping children in her community, she leverages her extensive marketing experience, honed over years of entrepreneurship, to make a significant impact. She is currently advancing her education in marketing at Temple University. Milan continues to expand her skills and expertise, making her an invaluable asset to the foundation and the children they serve. In her spare time, she is dedicated to empowering and uplifting other women on their entrepreneurship journeys through social media.
